ABOUT JULIA

EXPERIENCE

Julia holds a Bachelors in Kinesiology and a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia and

she has been working in exercise rehabilitation for over ten years.

Her experience ranges from treating elite athletes to working with neurological disorders, such as MS, post stroke and Parkinson's disease. She also has postgraduate education and experience in rehabilitation of patients during and post pregnancy.

PRACTISE

Julia's long-held passion has been to improve function and give hope to those who feel like they have tried everything without success. Her unrelenting need to further understand the human body and continually update her education while keeping abreast on the latest research is what allows her to successfully meet the needs of her clients.

Her main goal is to improve the health of others through a holistic, individualized and hands on approach. Her assessments are thorough in order to find the root of the problem and treatments are creative and specific. Her approach to treatment is to not only assess the mechanics and vectors of your entire body but to also consider social and emotional demands, such as work, kids, hobbies and goals.

OUTSIDE OF THE CLINIC

Julia enjoys shining her competitive light in a variety of team sports and spending as much time as possible being active in nature during every season. She also loves to dance or do anything that is creative!
