What is Kinesiology

Kinesiology is the study of human movement & how it relates to health, performance, & injury prevention. Kinesiologists use evidence - based movement & exercise techniques to help individuals improve strength, mobility, & overall function. Their expertise supports rehabilitation, chronic disease management, & injury prevention, making kinesiology an essential part of a well - rounded healthcare approach.

Kinesiology can benefit people dealing with:

  • Post - injury rehabilitation

  • Chronic pain management

  • Neurological conditions such as stroke & Parkinson’s disease (as part of a team approach with a Physiotherapist)

  • Balance & fall prevention

  • Pre & post - surgical recovery

  • Workplace & ergonomic concerns

  • Athletic performance & conditioning

At Back in Line Physiotherapy, our Kinesiologists & Physiotherapists work closely together to provide a collaborative, individualized approach to rehabilitation & performance.
